Golbat is a major evolutionary step up from Zubat: he has eyes, as well as actual feet. The mouth, however, remains as wide-jawed as ever. Remember when they used to depict him with a giant blue tongue?
That was pretty messed up.
Golbat is evil looking, I have to say. A very good bat pokemon indeed. A little bizarre, maybe, but in the world of pokemon, that's better than being bland.

ReplyDeleteAbout that tongue thing you pointed out: The sprite in Red and Blue actually displayed a long tongue on Golbat.
I assume you played the blue edition, maybe both but blue first and/or most. So, if you played on a Super GameBoy, (does it have the same name in the US as in Germany?)I mean that Cartridge that you put in the SNES to play GameBoy games, The color changes from black/white to red respectively blue. So that`s that.
The sprites in the first games were partially unsimilar to the artwork. Like Kakuna that had some freakin blades.
